Nifoxipam

Nifoxipam is a designer drug in the benzodiazepine class. It is described as highly potent and is not approved for prescription use. It is expected to have effects such as muscle relaxation, sedation, anxiety reduction, and memory impairment. It is also characterized by a long action duration, with effects lasting up to 24 hours or more. This effect makes it particularly potent and increases the risk of accumulation in the body, especially with repeated dosing. Combination with other depressants such as alcohol or fentanyl may increase the risk of complex overdose.
